About The Position

Plante Moran is hiring full-time entry-level Audit and Tax staff for a January 2028 winter start. Staff will participate in different phases of audit and/or tax engagements, including planning, testing, research, and reporting. Work may involve compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, benefit plans, and corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state and local taxes. The role offers interaction with colleagues at all levels and clients across a range of business opportunities within a professional services firm. This is an exempt position and may require local, national, and occasional international travel. Plante Moran follows a “Workplace for Your Day” model: the firm is principally in person, while staff work with their supervisors and teams to determine an appropriate working environment each day.

Requirements

Detail-oriented, with problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a master’s degree in accounting or tax.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Completion of the degree and supporting credits required to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining a CPA license.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, except qualified candidates bilingual in Japanese and English or Chinese and English.
