Task Force Sales Manager

Maya Hospitality Group•Charlotte, NC

About The Position

Maya Hotels is hiring a hands-on, travel-based sales leader to provide support across its hotel portfolio. The Task Force Sales Manager covers open Sales Manager positions, trains and onboards sales team members, and helps hotels improve sales processes during openings, conversions, ownership transitions, or periods of underperformance. The role works alongside property teams to build sales capability and leave each hotel with a stronger, self-sufficient sales operation. Assignments may include serving as interim Sales Manager, establishing sales processes and plans, rebuilding sales pipelines, conducting sales activity, and delivering documented handoffs to incoming sales leaders. The position also trains property sales teams on Maya Hotels standards and brand systems, supports sales reporting and process consistency, and builds relationships with local CVBs, key accounts, and brand representatives. This is a travel-heavy role involving regular overnight travel to assigned hotels. Assignments typically last from one week to several months, depending on property needs; travel percentage is to be confirmed by the hiring leader. The work takes place in office and on-site hotel environments. The position requires extended sitting, standing, and walking, frequent use of hands, and occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs.
