About The Position

The Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence that supports sales and provides the foundation for an exceptional experience for Ulta Beauty guests. The role includes stocking merchandise fixtures, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. Task Associates support the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, people, and processes. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.

The Task Associate helps achieve store goals by ensuring tasks are completed as planned and merchandise is available for purchase. They complete operational processes such as shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures; maintain assigned areas and store standards; follow company policies and loss-prevention practices; and participate in ongoing training. The position requires flexible scheduling, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology, such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the described physical demands, with reasonable accommodation considered through the company’s interactive process where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals for the task dashboard and complete shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and related procedures on time.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
• Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Maintain store cleanliness and standards in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss-prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Complete other operational tasks as directed.
