About The Position
The Task Associate (TA) supports operational excellence and sales by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, people, and processes. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. The associate contributes to Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values while supporting an exceptional experience for guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
- Proficiency with basic technology, such as a point-of-sale system and Apple devices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
- Meet compliance and execution goals on the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
- Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
- Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
- Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
- Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
- Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
- Complete other operational tasks as directed.
