About The Position

The Task Associate supports operational excellence and sales by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, teammates and guests, and compliance with established processes. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are required. The Task Associate helps ensure product is available for purchase and operational processes are completed on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts. The role also completes resets, planograms, marketing displays, and shipment processing; maintains replenished, signed, and faced work areas and available testers; and upholds cleanliness throughout the store. Associates use Ulta Beauty technology and best practices, follow company policies and dress code, protect company assets, and provide guest service. The position involves flexible scheduling, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing planned tasks and ensuring products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Perform other operational tasks as directed.
