About The Position

The Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence in support of store sales and an exceptional guest experience. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks. The associate supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on operational performance, people, and processes. Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures are required.

The position contributes to store goals by completing operational tasks and ensuring merchandise is available for purchase. Duties include shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts and procedures, resets, planograms, marketing displays, and maintaining assigned areas. The associate also supports an inclusive environment, participates in ongoing training, follows company policies and standards, protects company assets, and provides guest service.

The schedule is flexible and may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. The work involves continuous movement around the store and frequent physical activity, including standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and handling objects. Associates may continuously or frequently lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
• Participate regularly in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
• Know and follow company policies, procedures, and standards, including the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Complete other operational tasks as directed.
