About The Position

The Talent Specialist role is designed as the ultimate launchpad for a career in the Talent space. You will join our team with a primary focus on technical sourcing, helping us hunt and engage the Software Engineers building our platform. This is not a stagnant role; it’s an incubator. You will start by mastering the top of the funnel. As you master our pitch and tools, you will have the autonomy to choose your adventure. Whether you want to evolve into a Talent Partner (managing the full lifecycle), dive deep into Talent Branding & Sourcing strategy, or pivot into Talent Operations, we will provide the mentorship to get you there.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in a data-driven recruitment agency or staffing firm. You understand the hustle required to find great people and aren't afraid of cold outreach.
  • You may not be a coder, but you are curious about technology. You are eager to learn the difference between Front-End and Back-End, and what makes a great Engineering profile.
  • Agency life taught you that "no" is just part of the process. You are persistent, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • You are eager to learn. You crave feedback and want to understand not just how we recruit, but why we recruit that way.

Responsibilities

  • Execute High-Volume Hiring: You will focus immediately on building the top-of-funnel pipeline for our Engineering teams. You will identify and message prospective candidates using LinkedIn, Gem, and other sourcing channels.
  • Master the "Verse" Narrative: You will master the art of storytelling, learning how to convert passive candidates into interested applicants by effectively communicating our mission and values.
  • Data Integrity & Operations: You will ensure our ATS (Ashby) remains a source of truth by maintaining clean candidate data and tracking your own conversion metrics.
  • Support the Process: As you learn the ropes, you will assist Talent Partners with scheduling, candidate coordination, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
