About The Position

This role is responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing candidates to extending offers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, assist with job descriptions, and ensure the best candidates are hired while maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved. The position also involves developing sourcing strategies, establishing social media recruitment efforts, and staying current with recruitment trends to attract top talent.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude, independence and strong sense of ownership and urgency to accomplish tasks
  • Familiarity with recruiting metrics
  • Proficient in utilizing applicant tracking systems, HRIS, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise logic, reason, sound judgement and common sense
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and able to maintain in all aspects
  • Works cooperatively with others, cultivating strong interpersonal relationships with high degree of credibility
  • Clear understanding of the full cycle of the recruiting process
  • Demonstrated success with full life cycle recruitment of assigned positions from candidate sourcing to offer
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build partnerships with all levels

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting including sourcing, vetting resumes, interviewing candidates (by phone/teams video and/or in person), administering pre-screen testing, reference checking and background checks, recommending/extending offers
  • Work within the applicant tracking system updating and maintaining candidate information and communications
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, assist with completing job descriptions and hire best fit candidates while maintaining an excellent relationship with internal and external candidates
  • Determine best methods for sourcing potential candidates (advertising, direct contact, professional organizations, social media etc.) to ensure an active and robust talent pipeline
  • In partnership with corporate marketing, helps establish the social media recruitment strategy
  • Maintain and stay abreast of trends in recruitment, recommending any enhancements to keep company in best scenario for attracting top talent
