About The Position

Surge Staffing is hiring a high-energy Talent Advisor for a permanent, full-time internal position. The role combines customer service, sales, recruiting, and administrative support. The Talent Advisor serves as a professional liaison between clients and temporary associates, helps fill client orders, develops business relationships, and supports branch growth and profitability. This is described as an entry-level customer service and sales opportunity, although at least one year of sales experience is required.

Requirements

• At least one year of sales experience.
• High school diploma required; equivalent work experience or education is greatly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Ability to travel to various locations and customer sites as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
• Sales-minded, team-oriented, and exceptionally calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Staffing industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in sales, human resources, or a service industry is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service to clients and temporary associates.
• Search resumes and use candidate pools and staffing or job-board resources to fill client orders promptly.
• Recruit candidates, conduct interviews, and follow up with candidates and temporary associates.
• Match employee skill sets to customers’ hiring needs.
• Assist with developing business leads and retaining current clientele.
• Serve as a reliable liaison between temporary associates and clients.
• Maximize billable hours to increase market share and branch profits.
• Perform administrative tasks that support quality performance.
• Conduct service calls to support customer service and outside sales calls to develop new business partnerships and customers.
• Present customers with additional Surge Staffing products and services.
• Implement and manage marketing programs for sales calls, direct mail, in-office demonstrations, and public relations for the assigned branch.
• Develop business partnerships through customer service and customer development and retention strategies.
• Recruit, train, and retain temporary associates; coach and counsel them to support performance and job satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems or complaints involving temporary associates, customers, and other personnel.
