About The Position

Surge Staffing is seeking a high-energy, hardworking Talent Advisor with a positive attitude, personable manner, and strong phone presence. This is a permanent, full-time internal position. The role combines customer service, sales, recruiting, and administrative work to support clients and temporary associates, fill client orders, grow business, and maintain customer relationships. The position requires travel to various locations and customer sites as needed, with reliable transportation.

Requirements

• At least one year of sales experience.
• High school diploma required; equivalent work experience or education is also noted as greatly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Ability to travel to various locations and customer sites as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a group setting.
• Sales-minded, team-oriented, and exceptionally calm under pressure.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Previous experience in sales, human resources, or a service industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to clients and temporary associates.
• Search resumes and use the established candidate pool and other staffing or job-board resources to fill client orders promptly.
• Recruit candidates, conduct interviews, and follow up with candidates and temporary associates.
• Match employee skills strategically to customers’ hiring needs.
• Assist in developing business leads and retaining current clients.
• Serve as a professional and reliable liaison between temporary associates and clients.
• Maximize billable hours to increase market share and branch profits.
• Perform administrative tasks that support quality performance.
• Conduct service calls to ensure customer service quality and outside sales calls to develop new business partnerships and customers.
• Present customers with additional Surge Staffing products and services.
• Implement and manage marketing programs for sales calls, direct mail, in-office demonstrations, and public relations for the assigned branch.
• Build business partnerships through exceptional customer service and customer development and retention strategies.
• Recruit, train, and retain temporary associates; coach and counsel them to support quality performance and job satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems or complaints involving temporary associates, customers, and other personnel.
