Talent Acquisition Specialist
About The Position
Eclipse Automation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting for its Rock Hill, South Carolina facility. The role focuses primarily on engineering positions—including Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Automation, and Manufacturing Engineering—and also supports hiring for skilled trades and production roles. The specialist partners with local business leaders and the Rock Hill Human Resources Business Partner, and collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team in Cambridge, Ontario, on facility and company-wide recruiting objectives. This is an on-site, 12-month contract role.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
- Proven experience recruiting for engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience recruiting skilled trades and production roles.
- Strong sourcing capabilities, including LinkedIn Recruiter and direct candidate outreach.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders, candidates, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- A proactive, consultative, and results-oriented approach to recruiting.
Nice To Haves
- Talent Acquisition experience in manufacturing, automation, engineering, or industrial environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, and skilled trades roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and the HR Business Partner to understand workforce needs and develop hiring strategies.
- Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Recruit for Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Project Engineers, Automation Engineers, Assemblers, Machinists, Technicians, and other skilled trades positions.
- Manage candidate screening, interviews, assessments, references, offers, and onboarding activities.
- Represent Eclipse Automation at career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team on company-wide recruiting initiatives and share best practices.
- Track recruitment metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
