About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for salaried roles within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations and HR stakeholders to attract, source, assess, and hire qualified talent to support manufacturing goals, workforce planning needs, and organizational priorities. The position focuses on delivering a high-quality candidate experience while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and best recruiting practices. HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of full cycle talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated ownership from requisition intake through offer extension.
  • Direct experience proactively sourcing candidates (e.g., LinkedIn, networking, referrals, niche job boards) rather than relying solely on applicant flow.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers in a fast paced, operationally driven environment.
  • Ability to conduct professional, effective communication with candidates and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual platforms.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and outreach skills, including the ability to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workload with minimal direction.
  • Effective consultation and relationship building skills to partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt recruiting approaches in response to changing business needs, priorities, or market conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and recruiting records.
  • Ability to collaborate with others, influence outcomes, and gain alignment through clear communication and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for salaried positions, from hiring manager intake discussions through offer extension and acceptance.
  • Proactively source, identify, and engage passive and active talent using multiple recruiting channels, including direct sourcing, networking, job boards, and social platforms.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, business needs, and candidate profiles, providing guidance throughout the recruiting process.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support current and anticipated hiring needs within the organization.
  • Screen, assess, and interview candidates to evaluate qualifications, skills, and organizational fit.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare, present, and extend employment offers in alignment with company guidelines and approval processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Accurately track recruiting activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system and maintain proper documentation.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates, both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage multiple open requisitions and priorities simultaneously in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
