Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. We are seeking a motivated HR / Talent Acquisition Intern to support our Talent Acquisition team with sourcing, screening, and building pipelines of talent for current and future job openings. This is a great opportunity for a student who is interested in human resources, recruiting, or talent strategy and wants hands‑on experience in a professional environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university degree program (Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong interest in human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and internal systems
  • Support pipeline development for current and future hiring needs
  • Review resumes and assist with initial candidate screening
  • Help maintain candidate data and activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support job postings and outreach for open positions
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to recruiting and hiring
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring partners on talent initiatives
