About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for owning and executing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles, from initial intake through offer and onboarding handoff. This role ensures alignment with business needs, compensation structures, and organizational priorities while delivering a high-quality hiring experience and maintaining high standards of candidate and stakeholder experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to drive candidate quality, maintain process integrity, and ensure consistent, efficient recruitment execution across the organization.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards) to manage candidate pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to hiring and recruitment.
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including maintaining accurate candidate records and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools for communication and interview coordination
  • Familiarity with sourcing platforms and tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, resume databases)
  • The ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing is essential. Reports, email correspondence, schedules, are all typical requirements of this position and must be effectively and professionally communicated.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Must be able to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a disciplined approach to oversee all personnel needs.
  • The ability to understand the company’s needs and requirements is essential.
  • Must be able to solve both practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of factors in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required at the time of hire and periodically thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent professional recruiting experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions (technical, manufacturing, engineering, or corporate roles) preferred
  • Experience supporting recruitment initiatives such as process improvements, employer branding, or talent pipeline development preferred
  • SuccessFactors experience preferred
  • HRCI or SHRM certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across assigned roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer development, and onboarding handoff
  • Lead intake discussions with hiring managers to define role scope, expectations, and candidate profiles
  • Drive clarity on role requirements and hiring expectations to ensure alignment and reduce downstream disruption
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques
  • Vet candidates early for role alignment, including experience, expectations, and compensation, prior to hiring manager engagement
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit beyond resume alignment
  • Drive recruitment process momentum, ensuring timely movement of candidates, feedback collection, and decision-making
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners to ensure roles are aligned to approved compensation structures prior to recruitment
  • Provide guidance on market conditions, candidate availability, and realistic hiring expectations
  • Maintain consistent communication and accountability with stakeholders throughout the hiring process
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks related to compensation, candidate alignment, or role scope changes
  • Support offer development within approved compensation parameters and structured approval processes
  • Conduct structured screening conversations to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment
  • Ensure candidates are informed, engaged, and aligned throughout the recruitment process
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication and professionalism
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and recruiting activities as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including maintaining complete candidate records and activity tracking
  • Ensure all candidate activity, notes, and status updates are consistently recorded
  • Manage requisition lifecycle, including posting, updates, status changes, and closeout
  • Ensure alignment between system data and internal reporting tools
  • Support compliance with internal processes, audit requirements, and employment regulations
  • Leverage recruitment data and market insights to inform hiring decisions and improve recruitment effectiveness
  • Operate with consistency across entities, following standardized recruitment processes and best practices
  • Support additional talent acquisition initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects as needed to support evolving business needs.
