Talent Acquisition Partner

IgnitionToronto, ON
CA$140,000 - CA$150,000Hybrid

About The Position

This is not a “fill the req” recruiting role. As our Talent Acquisition Partner, NAMER, you’ll be a true talent advisor for North America, owning how we attract, assess, and hire exceptional people across the US and Canada. You’ll partner closely with leaders on hiring strategy while rolling up your sleeves to deliver results in a competitive SaaS talent market. Reporting to the Regional Director, People, NAMER, you’ll lead full-cycle hiring across technical and non-technical teams, build scalable recruiting programs, and continuously improve how we compete for top talent. You’ll sit within the global People team, with members also located in Australia. We’re looking for someone with grit, pace, strong judgment, and high ownership. Someone who can operate strategically, execute relentlessly, and build a recruiting motion that raises the bar. This is a 6-month contract running until December 2026.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience in high-growth SaaS or startup environments
  • Must have demonstrated success hiring across technical, GTM, and leadership roles in both Canada & the US
  • Proven ability to run a full recruitment process independently, from intake to signed offer, across multiple functions simultaneously
  • Strong sourcing skills and the ability to engage high-quality passive talent
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence leaders at all levels
  • The ability to manage multiple roles, priorities, and hiring manager relationships at once
  • Exceptional communication skills: you’re proactive, organized, and always a step ahead; hiring managers know the status of their roles before they have to ask
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities shift
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across functions
  • Experience with Ashby (or similar ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI/automation tools
  • Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • High ownership mentality: you care about outcomes, not just activity
  • A builder mindset; you improve the system while delivering the work
  • A strong bias for action, high standards, and the ability to move fast without compromising quality
  • You care about great matches, not just filled seats. You bring urgency, curiosity, and judgment to connecting exceptional people with the right opportunities.

  • Build creative sourcing and attraction strategies for hard-to-fill roles
  • Strengthen our employer brand in the SaaS talent market
