About The Position

Talent Acquisition Partner to build the Teams That Build Kovach. This role is based in Chandler, AZ, with a hybrid work option eligible based on demonstrated performance. The position is full-time and exempt. The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for recruiting across Corporate, Manufacturing, and Construction Operations, owning the candidate journey from workforce planning through successful onboarding. This role will also help build recruiting systems that scale with a growing company and work directly with organizational leaders to influence hiring decisions. The ideal candidate believes recruiting can be better and is looking for a role where they can build relationships over transactions, partnerships over order-taking, and continuous improvement over traditional methods. The Recruiter will have the autonomy to recommend and implement ideas, seeing the impact of their work across the organization. The Recruiter will partner directly with hiring managers across Corporate, Manufacturing, and Construction Operations to attract exceptional talent and create an outstanding hiring experience. Success is measured by helping managers make great hiring decisions, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, building talent pipelines, and continuously improving recruiting processes. The role offers variety, recruiting for positions such as Project Manager, CAD Drafter, Glazier, Estimator, Manufacturing Supervisor, HR professional, or executive-level positions.

Requirements

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business leaders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing the recruiting process from workforce planning and sourcing through onboarding.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably UKG Pro Recruiting or a comparable enterprise recruiting platform.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding activities and creating an exceptional new hire experience.
  • Experience recruiting professional, manufacturing, construction, or skilled trades positions.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates using multiple recruiting channels.
  • Experience using recruiting metrics and analytics to improve hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Recruit for Corporate, Manufacturing, and Construction positions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions that support effective hiring.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, career fairs, trade organizations, colleges, technical schools, military transition programs, and other creative sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct structured phone screens and interviews.
  • Evaluate candidates based on qualifications, transferable skills, learning agility, and long-term potential.
  • Coordinate interviews while maintaining exceptional communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare employment offers and coordinate onboarding activities to create an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Represent Kovach at career fairs, networking events, schools, and community outreach activities.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Utilize technology, automation, AI, and analytics to improve efficiency while maintaining sound professional judgment.
  • Recommend improvements that simplify, standardize, automate, and scale recruiting processes.
