About The Position

UMOM New Day Centers is seeking a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist to manage how employees join the organization, from initial hiring-manager conversations through each new hire’s first 90 days. The role supports UMOM’s mission to end family homelessness by recruiting people for positions across its shelter teams, programs, and administration. It is based on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, with travel between UMOM campuses. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work. The role also serves as a welcoming first point of contact for employee HR questions as part of a cross-trained People Operations team. The People Operations Coordinator handles scheduling and tracking so the specialist can focus on people.
