About The Position

CTG is seeking a Talend Snowflake Lead for a client. The role leads Talend ETL/ELT development and Snowflake data warehouse implementations, builds and optimizes data pipelines, analyzes and converts SAS code to Snowflake, and develops data models, source-to-target mappings, and data validation processes. The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; or Raleigh, North Carolina, and is not remote. The engagement is an ongoing contract. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of ETL/data engineering and data warehouse experience.
• Strong hands-on Talend and Snowflake development and optimization experience.
• Skills in Talend, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Linux/Unix scripting.
• Experience with SAS conversion, cloud data platforms, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; the degree is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, performance tuning, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talend ETL/ELT development and Snowflake data warehouse implementations.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using medallion architecture, change data capture (CDC), and incremental loading.
• Analyze and convert SAS code to Snowflake.
• Develop data models, source-to-target mappings, and data validation processes.
