About The Position

TalentFish is seeking a Snowflake Administrator to support a large healthcare system implementing an enterprise Snowflake data platform. The role is responsible for Snowflake administration, platform configuration, performance tuning, security, and integration with Informatica and Epic healthcare data systems. The administrator will work with data engineering, architecture, BI, and hospital IT stakeholders to support implementation, data warehouse migration, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform operations. Healthcare experience, particularly with Epic data, is required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering Snowflake environments, including platform configuration, virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, security, performance optimization, and Snowflake implementation.
Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, troubleshooting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience supporting Informatica ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, and integration with Snowflake.
Healthcare experience working with hospital data environments; experience with Epic data is required, preferably integrating Epic Clarity, Caboodle, or other Epic data sources into Snowflake.
Experience with role-based access control (RBAC), data governance, HIPAA requirements, monitoring, and Snowflake cost management.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize Snowflake environments for availability, scalability, security, and performance.
Support Informatica pipelines and the ingestion of Epic clinical, financial, and operational data into Snowflake in partnership with data engineering teams.
Monitor workloads, troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries, optimize virtual warehouses, and manage Snowflake consumption and costs.
Implement user access, roles, permissions, data protection, and governance controls aligned with healthcare security and HIPAA requirements.
Collaborate with data architects, BI teams, and hospital IT stakeholders on Snowflake implementation, data warehouse migration, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform operations.
