About The Position

The Bartender mixes and serves food and drinks to patrons, either directly or through wait staff. This role works as part of the bartending and service team to provide timely service, verify guests meet age requirements for alcohol purchases, follow ServSafe Alcohol guidelines to prevent over-service, and maintain the work area using opening and closing checklists. The position is at Snowflake Lounge at Boyne Mountain Resort.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of previous bartending experience.
• Be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team with bartending and service staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
• Check guests' identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Follow ServSafe Alcohol guidelines to limit over-service, including stopping service of alcoholic beverages when needed.
• Maintain and clean the work area by following established opening and closing checklists.
