About The Position

The Bartender mixes and serves food and drinks to patrons, either directly or through wait staff. The role works with bartending and service staff to provide timely service, verifies guests’ ages for alcohol purchases, follows ServSafe Alcohol guidelines to prevent over-service, and maintains and cleans the work area using opening and closing checklists. The position is at Snowflake Lounge at Boyne Mountain Resort.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of previous bartending experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team with bartending and service staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
• Check guests’ identification to verify they meet age requirements for purchasing alcohol.
• Follow ServSafe Alcohol guidelines to limit over-service, including stopping service of alcoholic beverages when needed.
• Maintain and clean the work area by following established opening and closing checklists.
