About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring for a tactical security role based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The position involves patrolling sensitive environments, including retail stores, airports, and detention centers, to identify suspicious activity and potential risks. The officer controls access to secure areas, responds to alarms and incidents, checks security equipment, documents actions, and works with law enforcement during serious incidents. The role requires physical activity throughout the shift, including standing and walking, and the ability to remain observant, calm, and decisive under pressure.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a stated hourly wage of $30. GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost, career growth opportunities, and a benefits package. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of security experience.
• Current or former law enforcement experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• State license, if required.
• Strong situational awareness and threat recognition.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Conflict de-escalation and crisis management abilities.
• Knowledge of access control, perimeter security, and patrol procedures.
• Ability to identify suspicious activity and potential security vulnerabilities.
• Ability to complete detailed incident reports and documentation.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous tactical security, high-risk security, or emergency response experience preferred.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is described as an advantage.

Responsibilities
