About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Kansas City, Missouri. The role involves patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, with physical activity throughout the shift. Officers observe their surroundings, anticipate risks, protect people and property, and respond to security concerns. The position has a full-time schedule from Saturday through Tuesday, nights, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $22.63. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if one is required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
