About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Broomfield, Colorado. The role requires keen observation, the ability to assess environments and anticipate risks, and the physical ability to move and patrol throughout the entire shift. Officers help protect people and property by monitoring sensitive areas, controlling access, responding to incidents, and documenting their actions. The position has a full-time, 40-hour workweek on a fixed day-shift schedule: Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The hourly wage is $19.25. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to operate company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
