About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to protect people and property by monitoring and patrolling sensitive environments, identifying risks, controlling access, and responding to alarms or incidents. The role requires keen observation and the ability to remain physically active throughout the shift, including standing and walking for the entire shift.

The position is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a set schedule of Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The hourly wage is $16.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost. GardaWorld describes opportunities for career growth and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
