About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to protect people and property while patrolling sensitive environments and responding to potential threats or incidents. The role requires strong observation, situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate risk and make sound decisions under pressure. Physical ability is essential, including standing and walking throughout the shift.

The position is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and has a full-time Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $30.00. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Have current or former law enforcement experience.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state license if required.
• Demonstrate strong situational awareness and threat recognition.
• Remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Have conflict de-escalation and crisis management abilities.
• Know access control, perimeter security, and patrol procedures.
• Be able to identify suspicious activity and potential security vulnerabilities.
• Be able to complete detailed incident reports and documentation.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous tactical security, high-risk security, or emergency response experience.
• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
