About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Guard in Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires strong observation skills to read the environment, anticipate risks, and respond appropriately. The officer moves throughout the shift while patrolling assigned environments and protecting people and property. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a post-offer background check and drug screening.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas and identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Protect the safety of individuals and property.
