About The Position

Mechanically deals table games in a proficient manner. Available Shifts: Swing Shift- 8:00PM-4:00AM. This role is responsible for performing the act of mechanically dealing a game according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations. The dealer will handle guest transactions, notify supervisors of any irregularities, and accurately exchange currency for gaming chips while paying or collecting bets. Additionally, the position supports guest service standards, assists with property cleanliness, and complies with all gaming policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with Team members and guests
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Ability to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Able to obtain and retain gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Responsibilities

• Perform the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations.
• Handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor or Table Games Manager of any irregularities, disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer.
• Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
• Supports and maintain Rivers Casino Portsmouth guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations.
• Provide the utmost in guest service.
• Assists with the cleanliness of the casino property, front and heart of the house.
• Complies with all gaming policies/procedures as established by the division and/or Rivers Casino Portsmouth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
