Table Games Dealer (Experienced, PART-TIME)
About The Position
Perform the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations. Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor or Table Games Manager of any irregularities, disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer. Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner. Supports and maintain Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations. Provide the utmost in guest service. Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines ICS. Complies with all gaming policies/procedures as established by the division and/or Des Plaines ICS. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years experience in particular multiple casino games required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with Team members and guests
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
- May be required to sit for periods of time
- Frequent grasping, squeezing and handling of money and bundles
Nice To Haves
- Craps or Roulette dealing experience preferred.
