About The Position

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As a Verification & Test REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative integration, verification & test team focused on test efforts in developing and executing avionic systems for mission critical aerospace and defense applications. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field obtained between May 2026 and June 2027
A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
Prior Co-Op or internship experience
Foundational understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and board-level hardware
Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and engineering requirements
Experience using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators)
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop clear, concise test plans, procedures, and documentation
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience performing board-level DVT, functional testing, or hardware validation
Familiarity with hardware bring-up, failure analysis, or component-level debugging
Experience supporting product transfer from engineering to production environments
Knowledge of automated test systems or scripting languages (Python, LabVIEW, etc.)
Understanding of manufacturing test processes or production line workflows
Exposure to reliability testing, environmental stress screening (ESS), or similar engineering test methodologies

Responsibilities

Develop Verification Test plans and procedures based on product requirements and engineering specifications
Execute Verification across multiple hardware products, ensuring thorough validation of functionality, performance, and reliability
Document test results, identify defects, and work with cross-functional engineering teams to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Support new product introduction (NPI) by transferring products from engineering development to production, including creating test documentation, training, and troubleshooting guidance
Provide ongoing debug support for products in production, resolving issues related to test failures, hardware behavior, or process gaps
Maintain and improve test processes, tools, and fixtures to enhance test coverage and efficiency
Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure a smooth product lifecycle from development through release
