About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer for the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. As an integral part of the Command Systems SEIT MS&A Execution team on the Sentinel program, you will focus on supporting analysis for requirement decomposition and traceability, supporting MBSE strategy and implementation, supporting design implementation in areas of power, structural, thermal, electrical, and signal analyses, coordinating with sub-contracted product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance, and contributing content for presentations and presenting to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 Years of related experience; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD (for Principal Systems Engineer)
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Demonstrated experience with mathematical modeling and simulation
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles
  • Knowledge of Design Engineering principles

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Experience with power systems (including but not limited to commercial power and hardware)
  • Experience with critical signal analysis or end to end hardware analyses
  • Experience with model verification and validation planning and execution
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite
  • Knowledge of Capital Analysis Tool
  • Knowledge of MBSE tools to include DOORS and CAMEO
