Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer 2 or 3 - Space AHT

Northrop Grumman•Huntsville, AL
•$87,600 - $163,200

About The Position

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Level 2 or Level 3 Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the System Performance and Analysis - SPIDER team. The role provides technical contributions and guidance for modeling and simulation products that support the design and development of GWS capability for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The selected engineer will develop, mature, and debug a high-fidelity model of GWS Fire Control tactical software. Work may involve translating software behavior between languages, debugging and tuning the model to represent tactical behavior, and analyzing data to identify root causes. The model is sequential, though workarounds may be needed to represent concurrent or multithreaded systems. The position calls for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage diverse assignments, and collaborate with colleagues across experience levels.
