About The Position

The Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer will advance Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities by integrating AI-enabled models that support complex wargaming and operational decision-making for the Department of War. Using software engineering principles, the engineer will support the design, development, and deployment of scalable simulation components, create behavioral and environmental models, and integrate diverse data sources to produce high-fidelity outcomes. The role involves collaborating with analysts, domain experts, network orchestrators, and other engineers to help models accurately represent real-world conditions and meet evolving mission needs. The engineer will apply full-stack engineering skills to shape the technical vision for next-generation M&S systems. This includes evaluating frameworks, enhancing simulation performance, and implementing extensible architectures that support a federation of tools. The work will help clients explore scenarios, assess alternatives, and derive insights from complex simulation environments.
