Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton•Suffolk, VA

About The Position

The Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer will advance Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities by integrating AI-enabled models that support complex wargaming and operational decision-making for the DoW. The role applies software engineering principles to the design, development, and deployment of scalable simulation components, realistic behavioral and environmental models, and integrations of diverse data sources to produce high-fidelity outcomes. The engineer collaborates with analysts, domain experts, network orchestrators, and other engineers to ensure models represent real-world conditions and address evolving mission needs. The position uses full-stack engineering skills to shape the technical vision for next-generation M&S systems. Work includes evaluating new frameworks, improving simulation performance, and implementing extensible architectures that federate tools. Contributions help clients explore scenarios, assess alternatives, and derive insights from complex simulation environments.
