Systems Integration/Test Engineer

The Structures Company•Orlando, FL

About The Position

The Systems Integration/Test Engineer integrates an EO/IR COTS camera with an over-the-shoulder missile launch product. The role includes integration, calibration, alignment, and characterization of the EO/IR sensor, as well as integrating and verifying hardware, electrical, and software interfaces between tactical or flight hardware subsystems and a test set. The engineer uses oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, and network analyzers for subsystem integration; reads schematics and interprets COTS Interface Control Documents to integrate camera communications and imagery with custom electronics; and troubleshoots and assesses system functionality during integration and testing. The position involves hands-on subsystem hardware and interface testing, applying systems engineering knowledge, working with tactical communication and telemetry protocols, and applying familiarity with EO/IR technology.
