About The Position

This Co-Op session will run from July to December and is expected that students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity. This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in conducting engineering processes and standard work, including verification and qualification procedures.
  • Creates, compiles and consolidates testing on diagnostic systems containing logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Assists in conducting disciplinary research on one or more stages of the equipment design phase to develop design options and recommendations.
  • Learns hardware and software standards and ensures work product adheres to these standards and business objectives of the organization are met.
  • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
