About The Position

This Co-Op session will run from January to June, requiring students to take time off from coursework to fully engage in this working mentorship opportunity. The position is located in Aguadilla, PR, and requires residency in Puerto Rico at the time of employment. Relocation is not offered. Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
  • Liaising between project management and planning and line management.
  • Coordinating the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Monitoring and assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Participating in engineering activities that further the success of overall project objectives.
  • Coordinating, preparing, and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure all action item lists are completed and project quality expectations are met.
  • Communicating in English (read, write, speak) with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
