About The Position

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is offering a Co-Op opportunity for students pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. This program runs from January to June and is designed for students to fully engage in a working mentorship. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and 2 days remote, following a schedule assigned by the Manager. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for this role.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems.
  • Participates in product development activities, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.
  • Support product development activities including implementation of standard specifications, and development of performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with professional employees to perform activities across several disciplines.
