About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Systems Applications Business Analyst in St. Cloud or Mounds View, Minnesota. This role gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments and process-mappings, and develops functional specifications and assists with technical specifications to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. The analyst serves as a liaison between development teams and the internal/external customer or end user, following an established requirements gathering process. This role will lead business application projects and communicate requirements to the development teams using specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation. The analyst will coordinate with developers, quality assurance teams, and users to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance. May develop user documentation or training materials. As a high-level specialist, provides ongoing advanced application support to business end-users. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. Quanex will not provide sponsorship for this position. Candidates must also be local to Minnesota, as relocation will not be offered for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, including hands-on applications and systems work
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in applications roles, including Business Applications or ERP Systems analysis
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful IT projects
  • Deep functional knowledge of ERP systems, especially in manufacturing and/or financial modules
  • Experience with ERP configuration and optimization (NetSuite, E21, or similar systems preferred)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and inventory management processes
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Candidates must also be local to Minnesota.

  • Proactively identify risks, system gaps, and improvement opportunities, and deliver forward-thinking, value-driven solutions.
