About The Position

The Business Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the company's core business applications, with a primary focus on Salesforce, MuleSoft integrations, SharePoint Online, and Slack. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, configuring systems, supporting users, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on application administration experience and a passion for improving business efficiency through technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting business applications.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration and support experience.
  • Experience with MuleSoft or enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online administration.
  • Experience supporting Slack or other enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and supporting technology projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, enhancements, and integration specifications.
  • Develop process maps, user stories, workflows, and business requirements documentation.
  • Maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, flows, reports, dashboards, and security settings.
  • Provide day-to-day application support and user assistance.
  • Assist with data quality management and user adoption initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
  • Support testing and deployment of new Salesforce functionality.
  • Assist in monitoring and supporting MuleSoft integrations.
  • Work with integration developers to document data flows and integration requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve integration-related issues.
  • Support API documentation and integration governance activities.
  • Participate in integration testing and validation efforts.
  • Assist with document management and collaboration initiatives.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint pages, forms, and content structures.
  • Ensure adherence to governance and records management policies.
  • Support Power Automate workflow enhancements as needed.
  • Support Slack workspace administration and governance.
  • Configure channels, user permissions, and integrations.
  • Assist in developing workflows and automation within Slack.
  • Promote user adoption and collaboration best practices.
  • Support integration between Slack and enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Analyze business data trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist management with KPI reporting and operational dashboards.
