About The Position

Help Drive Operational Excellence Through Technology We are seeking a collaborative and solution-oriented Business Applications Support Analyst to join our Digital Technology Services team. In this role, you will support a diverse portfolio of business and operational applications that help keep our health system running efficiently. As a key partner to operational leaders, end users, vendors, and IT teams, you will analyze business needs, troubleshoot application issues, support system improvements, and help implement technology solutions that enhance workflows and user experiences. You'll play an important role in ensuring critical business applications remain reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience in business analysis, application support, requirements gathering, or project management
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications within healthcare, business, or technology environments
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into practical technology solutions
  • Experience developing documentation, workflows, and support processes
  • Ability to work effectively with operational teams, technical teams, and external vendors

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting non-Epic healthcare applications or other enterprise software platforms
  • Experience with process optimization, workflow analysis, and system administration
  • Experience supporting application implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Knowledge of server administration, batch processing, scripting, or application infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and optimize a variety of business and operational applications across the organization
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
  • Troubleshoot application, system, and workflow issues while performing root-cause analysis and resolution
  • Configure and maintain application settings, workflows, and system functionality
  • Manage application-related server maintenance activities, including patching and vulnerability remediation
  • Create, maintain, and monitor batch jobs, scripts, and automated processes that support business operations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance application performance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend technology solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in application implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, workflows, support procedures, and training materials
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements that enhance reliability and user experience
  • Support testing efforts for application updates, new implementations, and business process changes
  • Participate in projects from planning and implementation through ongoing support and continuous improvement
