About The Position

The Systems Application Engineer serves as a bridge between engineering, field operations and project development, new product development, and systems engineering. The role leads technical application work for Taco Comfort Solutions’ complex products and systems, developing processes that improve the quality and effectiveness of solution deployment. Success is measured by effective analysis and resolution of field issues and projects, documented processes and engineered solutions, and effective technical consultation on system designs and complex product and project reviews. The position provides advanced engineering support for customer issues, product integrations, project conversions and upgrades, and project design and development. It supports controls and automation applications, engineering analyses and testing, product development and testing, and field operations. The role collaborates with field sales, field engineers, product engineers, and other teams to diagnose complex application issues, identify root causes, develop solutions, and optimize product integration. Travel to customer sites and industry events may be required up to 50% domestically and internationally. The position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology, with occasional exposure to production areas where large equipment and noise are present; safety gear is used in those areas. Working from home up to two days per week may be possible when performance is in good standing. The role has no direct reports.
