About The Position

The Systems Application Engineer serves as a bridge between engineering, field operations and project development, new product development, and systems engineering. The role provides specialized expertise to deliver engineering solutions, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth. As the department’s lead on complex product and system applications, the engineer develops processes to optimize the level and quality of solution deployment. Success is measured through effective analysis and resolution of field issues and projects, documented processes and engineered solutions, and effective technical consultation on system engineering design and reviews of complex products and project developments. The position provides advanced engineering support for complex field issues, product integrations, project conversions and upgrades, and project design and development. It leads design reviews, analyses, site visits, project definition, and execution for complex product applications and large projects, including controls and automation, fluid systems, and heat-transfer integrations. The engineer also supports automation hardware and software-hardware integration, product testing and development, customer demonstrations, and troubleshooting and resolution of complex system application issues. Work involves collaboration with field sales, field engineers, product engineers, and engineering test-lab teams. This is a regular full-time, first-shift, primarily onsite position. It may be performed from home up to twice per week when performance is in good standing. Travel of up to 50% domestically and internationally is required for customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and other purposes. The position has no direct reports.
