About The Position

The Systems Analyst implements the development, testing, and operational support of web applications. The role develops, alters, enhances, maintains, monitors, and supports municipal computer systems and applications within an assigned area of responsibility. It analyzes and resolves errors, prepares and updates system and user documentation, assists customers with assigned systems, and provides subject-matter input to IT management. The Systems Analyst performs testing to certify that system changes, fixes, patches, and upgrades are operational, assists with project documentation, and supports the transition to program or system maintenance staff. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a non-represented position subject to the Municipality of Anchorage Personnel Rules. The position is based at City Hall in Anchorage, Alaska, and the stated work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The listed pay range is $39.97–$59.12 per hour.
