About The Position

The System Administrator will work with the IT Operations Manager and Chief Information Officer to manage the overall IT infrastructure for the hospital. This includes planning, implementation, testing, monitoring/analyzing, daily support, and troubleshooting issues. Frequent projects with multiple hospital departments and/or 3rd party vendors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required due to interactions with technical vendors, as well as end-users. Teamwork mindset required. Ability to work independently, but within management guidelines, policies, and procedures such as approvals and change management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare or similar complex environment.

• Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical and virtual servers.
• Manage mobile devices.
• Administer thin clients.
• Perform server and workstation patching.
• Manage user accounts, Single Sign-on, and MFA.
• Administer email, including third-party software.
• Manage video conferencing and telehealth systems.
• Manage Storage Area Networks (SAN - Dell Unity/Isilon).
• Manage network switches and wireless access points (Cisco).
• Manage firewalls and web filters.
• Oversee backups.
• Manage telephony systems.
