About The Position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing and supporting the company’s enterprise information technology environment and serves as a key member of the cybersecurity function. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations while partnering closely with internal teams and managed service providers to support both business and clinical operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent applicable experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in an IT administration role supporting Microsoft 365 environments
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise IT systems, identity management, and endpoint security
  • Physical capability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and install IT hardware or peripherals
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, SSCP)
  • Experience supporting regulated environments, preferably healthcare
  • Exposure to cloud‑based automation tools and artificial intelligence platforms

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment, including Azure infrastructure and system integrations
  • Administer Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, Exchange, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Defender, Autopilot, Virtual Machines, and Enterprise Applications
  • Support and automate IT operations using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and third‑party platform integrations
  • Oversee identity and access management, role provisioning, and granular permissions
  • Develop and deploy Intune policies, manage application deployment, and provision mobile devices using Apple Business Manager
  • Own the asset lifecycle management process across hardware and software platforms
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including system access and software licensing
  • Partner with the IT managed services provider to coordinate service desk escalation and resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical hardware, software, and clinical‑related IT issues, including root‑cause analysis
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures; provide user training as needed
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices to reduce risk and enhance information security posture
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation, security alerts, and response activities as needed
  • Utilize remote support tools such as TeamViewer for enterprise support, patching, and remediation
  • Participate in IT projects, process improvements, and evaluation of new or optimized technology solutions
