About The Position

Community Choice Credit Union is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support and modernize our enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, hybrid environments, automation, and DevOps practices. In this role, you’ll help migrate services to Azure, improve infrastructure reliability and security, and build repeatable deployment processes. As an individual contributor, you’ll partner with Technology teams, project managers, business leaders, and vendors to deliver scalable solutions that support our team members and evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of related experience in infrastructure, systems administration, cloud administration, DevOps support, automation, or technology projects.
  • Education equivalent to a two-year degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • Intermediate proficiency administering Azure infrastructure, identities, networking, storage, backup, monitoring, and resource costs.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, group policy, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and hybrid identity.
  • Experience with scripting and automation, along with an understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and change control.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • The ability to explain technical information clearly, collaborate across departments, and provide excellent service to internal teams and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and troubleshoot on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Nutanix, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Plan and support Azure migrations, from readiness assessments and dependency mapping through testing, deployment, and optimization.
  • Manage Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, access controls, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and resource consumption.
  • Automate routine infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and repeatable deployment processes.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, source control, release coordination, and environment standardization.
  • Contribute to infrastructure modernization, technology integration, and merger and acquisition projects.
  • Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements, coordinate implementations, and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Maintain clear documentation and provide responsive technical support while meeting security, compliance, performance, and business continuity requirements.
