About The Position

The GATEKEEPER team is seeking a Systems Engineer to work with a team of developers, QA, DevOps and other system engineers to support the Software Development Lifecycle of the GATEKEEPER product. The Systems Engineer will contribute to building and managing GATEKEEPER product installations for DoD customers. The role includes collaborating with development and QA teams on system testing, validation, and performance tuning in support of production readiness, and to ensure system compliance with security best practices and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience.
  • RDBMS experience (tuning, migration, optimization).
  • Docker expertise.
  • Terraform, CloudFormation (CDK).
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies and platforms.
  • AWS Foundational Level Certification.
  • RDS and relational database experience in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of ICAM Capabilities and Integration.
  • Experience developing and maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with developers, testers, and product owners to align system behavior with business and technical requirements.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining system monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - Able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ FSP required within 7 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes.
