About The Position
Experienced Data Warehouse Tester/Developer with expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and SQL. This role requires a strong understanding of data marts and data warehouse concepts, with a quality engineering mindset for resolving complex problems in a repeatable, scalable, and sustainable way. The position involves creating source-to-target comparison test cases in SQL, developing test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and closure reports. Proficiency in PySpark, Python, GitHub, JIRA, JTMF, Agile Kanban, Scrum, Azure Data Bricks, Data Factory, and DevOps is essential. Experience with Mainframe EBCDIC and COBOL Copybooks, automation tools (Tosca BIDI, Autosys), ETL, Excel Macros, and Informatica is also required. Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, DP-900, and DP-203 are highly desirable.
Requirements
- 5 years data warehouse testing or developer experience
- 2 years of Azure Cloud experience
- Strong understanding of data marts and data warehouse concepts
- Quality Engineering mindset with experience resolving complex problems in a repeatable, scalable, and sustainable way
- Expert in SQL with the ability to create source-to-target comparison test cases in SQL
- Creation of test plans, test cases, traceability matrix, closure reports

Responsibilities
- Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup, and recover operations for the ETL environment.
- Report regularly on the health and performance of the ETL environment and jobs.
- Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Maintain ownership of release activities interacting with ETL projects.
- Perform import and export ETL jobs across various ETL projects and servers.
- Provide development support to ETL application development teams.
- Establish projects, roles, users, and privileges in different ETL environments (DEV, QA, PROD).
- Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as required at the direction of management.
- Perform administration of IBM Database and ETL tool.
- Collaborate with US data warehouse and ETL developers to implement ETL solutions.
- Establish ETL admin as part of the team responsible for building out and maintaining the US data warehouse.
- Record and maintain ETL software and operational procedures.
- Perform independently with little direct supervision in the administration of ETL.
- Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommend solutions.
- Conduct troubleshooting of production and ETL job issues.
