About The Position

This role involves deploying, managing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production environments. The Lead Cloud DevOps SRE will be responsible for monitoring cluster health, performance, and resource utilization, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to pods, nodes, namespaces, and services. The position also supports CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes and collaborates with development and DevOps teams for application deployments. Key tasks include managing Helm charts, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and RBAC policies, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes workloads, and responding to incidents with L2/L3 support for Kubernetes-related issues. Apple experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration and Docker
  • Experience with kubectl, Helm, and Kubernetes networking (Ingress, Services, DNS)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS (EKS),, or GCP (GKE) or OnPremises Kubernetes (OpenShift)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, etc...
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration
  • Experience with YAML, JSON, and scripting (Bash/Python)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
